Junior Girl Scout Troop # 214 has currently sold over 1900 boxes of cookies!!
Daisy Scout Troop # 2793 has currently sold over 1100 boxes of cookies!!

Junior Troop # 214
We are very much looking forward to our March activity – at The Works in Newark on Saturday, March 13th.
Girl Scout Sunday is March 14th and some of our girls will be here in uniform to participate in the service.
(*note: there will be no Second Sunday fellowship lunch – the Girl Scouts will treat
us to cookies and punch after worship service)
Daisy Troop # 2793
Their troop is busy doing a lot of fun activities as well.
In February they had a cooking and nutrition lesson from Church Carey, Director of Food and Nutrition at Knox
Community Hospital. They got to make and eat Blueberry Oatmeal muffins.
Our Daisies are following in the footsteps of our older girls and are currently working on
a postcard project.

Our Daisy Scout Troop and our Junior Girl Scout Troop
celebrated their bridging and investiture services at South Vernon on Saturday, November 7, 2009.
It was a wonderful event; the girls did a great job!
Many parents, grandparents, scouting friends and South Vernon friends attended.
The girls held a combined December meeting; the Junior girls led the Daisies in some holiday activities! Sounds like a fun time!
Each troop has 8 – 10 girls in it!!
The Juniors want to thank everyone for supporting their fall fundraiser with
their purchases of nuts, candy, trail mixes and etc.
Your support provides them the funds for their camps and activities.
