*Call to Worship
Aaron Palmer, Liturgist

L: Let us worship God in the beauty of holiness.

P: We worship the One God of all time and places, the Holy and Compassionate One.

L: We come trusting God’s grace to receive us, strange mixture of good and not-so-good

that we are, individually and as a community.

All: Holy, holy, holy God: the world is full of Your glory.

We worship and praise You forever, world without end. Amen

*Praise Hymn                  “Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty”                   Hymnal #64

*Unison Prayer
Aaron Palmer, Liturgist

God of love and mercy, in the quiet peace of morning we gather in this holy place to sing our praise to You and to be touched by Your gentle spirit. We offer grateful thanks for the gift of Sabbath rest and renewal. We pray that through our worship we may be once again recreated in Your likeness. Let Your cleansing Spirit enter our lives, that the shadows of our souls may be pierced by the brilliance of Your light. Let our destructive thoughts be transformed into expressions of hope, mercy, justice and beauty, reflecting Your uncompromising love. We pray in the name of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Amen
